As a Volunteer/Coach it is imperative we create a safe environment for all involved. All Coaches, Volunteers, and Board Members acting in any of the previously mentioned roles or participating as non-certified referees under Washington Youth Soccer (WYS) are required annually to:
1. Register with their club (via Sports Connect)
2. Complete Federal/State required training certifications (via US Soccer Learning Center)
--Safesport
--Intro to Safety (includes Sudden Cardiac Arrest & Concussion Awareness)
3. Pass a background check
Therefore, in order to participate, please complete these compliance items as soon as possible. We cannot submit rosters to the state or teams for scheduling until all coaches are compliant. Failure to promptly complete could delay the start of the season.
Roster and practice times will not be released until are requirements are met.
